Wanda Holder Farley
Wanda Holder Farley passed away early Sunday, April 2, 2017.
A lifelong resident of Graham County, she was the daughter of Maudie and Claude Holder.
She was enjoying life and planning a fishing trip with her daughter Melinda and her family. She will now continue her fishing trips with her brother Olin Holder and eating pound cake with her sister Naomi Hovis. Both proceeding her into the next life.
Surviving are her loving brother Otis Holder and his wife Jane, her children- Teresa and husband Beetle, Melinda and her husband Lowell, Ricky, Thomas, Vicki and their families. Eight grandchildren Dexter, Lowell, Kyle, Deneen, Jessica, Delancy, Jade, and Brooklyn and 4 great-grandchildren Aiden, Zeb, Caledon and Lysander. Her beloved friend Kyle Garland and much loved nieces and nephews.
Wanda enjoyed life to the fullest with hobbies that included fishing, canning, listening to rock and roll music, and quilting with Christine. She won first place for her handmade “Cathedral Window" quilt in 2015 at the Stecoah Festival.
