Shirley Orr, 75 of the I U Gap community in Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at Graham Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a native of Graham County, and the daughter of the late Harley Waldroup and Maybelle Blevins Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos “Wooly” Orr in December 2021; her grandson, Paden Stovall; sister, Reba Carver; and brother, Tony Jordan.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Orr; daughters, Tammy Hyde and her husband, Mike, Teresa Orr and Lynn Stovall, and Tanya Cody and her husband Junior, all of Robbinsville, N.C.; and daughter-in-law Christie Sellers.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lacy Hamilton, Lindsey Cody, Bronson Stovall, Jasmine Hyde, Leah Crowe, Kambree Sellers, Kenna Orr, Karlan Orr, Kessler Orr and Liam Cody; and her great-grandchildren: Wade, Wesyn, Wyler and Wilix Hamilton, Raylee Hill, Jackson Thompson, Genny Davis and Wrenleigh Singley.
Graveside services were held at noon Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at Carver Cemetery.
The Rev. Daniel Stewart officiated.
