Randy James Carpenter, 52 of the Hares Creek community of Robbinsville, N.C, passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.
He was a native of Graham County, and the son of Izetta Styles Carpenter and the late Virges Carpenter.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his sons and his daughter-in-law, Cody and Brandy Carpenter, and Tallon Carpenter all of Robbinsville, N.C.; daughters and their husbands, Ashley and Bryon Moody, Stacey and Nick Vetten all of Robbinsville, N.C., Breauna Carpenter and Milton Muller of West Palm Beach, Fla., Taneyha Carpenter, Tiara Carpenter, Tashay Carpenter, all of Robbinsville, N.C. and Teleigh Carpenter of Sylva, N.C., and sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Bruce Brooks of Robbinsville, N.C. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Darrin Self officiated. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the chapel, prior to the service.
