Diane Adams, 73 of the Long Creek community of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Lyle Grindstaff (Doris) and Opal Hice Moose (Earl).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Adams; stepbrother, Gene Anderson; stepsister, Teresa Payne; and brothers-in-law, Pete Adams and Darrell Lail.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Williams, Lora Bowman and Lana Trull, all of Robbinsville, N.C.; brothers, Tony Grindstaff, Mickey Grindstaff and Eddie Moose; stepbrother, Billy Anderson; stepsister, Carol Beasley; grandchildren, Jessica Millsaps, Tori Haney, Isaac Hall, Taylor Williams and Tia Hall; great-grandchildren, Anna Williams and Triton Williams; brother-in-law, Randall Adams (Carol); and sisters-in-law, Janice Lail and Lona Rae Adams.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, in the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service.
The Revs. Roger Orr and Jackie Gregory officiated, and her brother Eddie Moose delivered the eulogy.
Burial followed in the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
