Arthur Ray Carver, 63 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late James Claude Carver and Bonnie Marie Coe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Warlick; sisters, Rita Ann Mathis and Edith Carver; and his nephews, Jerry Ellington and Tim Bo Silvers.
He is survived by his sisters, Joyce Watkins of Robbinsville, N.C. and Kay Ellington of Cherokee, N.C.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, in the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Phillip Ellington and Bijy Silvers officiated.
The family received friends from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service.
